I've been working in the film industry in Los Angeles since 2001. I started at a local L.A. camera house as a Prep Tech and moved into the freelance world in 2003. I moved my way up the Camera Dept ladder for 3-4 years before attending The American Film Institute as a Cinematography Fellow from 2006-2008. Since that time, I've become a Local 600 Camera operator and DoP. The combination of Prep Tech experience and working exclusively with highly successful Cinematographers/Owner Operators I have learned the value of providing and maintaining excellent equipment. I was always taught to show up on set with solid, good looking gear. Producers want to see what they're paying for.
