Kai Dorsey is a twenty-six-year-old late-diagnosed Autistic queer Black non-binary woman (yes, she knows it's a mouthful) with a brain that runs a thousand miles a minute and doesn’t ever seem to slow down. She currently works for American Urban Radio Networks as the Special Assistant to the CEO. In late 2023 she completed the Disruptors Fellowship and simultaneously worked as a researcher in a mini-room for the new CBS late-night show After Midnight. She was previously employed at Funny Or Die in two separate assistant positions, and before that was a Showrunner’s Assistant at Marvel Studios. Kai writes diverse fish-out-of-water characters that have no option other than to be themselves. Usually, in comedic yet dark situations who unintentionally bend the world to their will, as they sometimes, but not always struggle to figure out their surroundings.
