Although, there was no permanent damaged and the mics work find, the mics’ wires were tied into multiple very tight knots upon the return and I had to work to untie them. Very disappointing experience. It gave me impression that the renter was negligent with my gear during their shoot and cared less if I notice it. They just shawled the mics into bags and handed to me. Very disrespectful. Dude, I trusted you my gear and you was support to return it in the same fashion as you pick it up !!! “Negligent, careless, disrespectful”, the words describing the renter. “Never again” was my experience. The person who dropped off the gear didn’t take the responsibility for the neglect, saying that he didn’t work with the gear during the shoot. He referred to the renter as “they”. “They used”. “They gave me the gear to drop off”. So, I never received even a simple apology. Very dissatisfied. Won’t rent to this person again and do not recommend renting unless they give a firm promise to care properly for a gear.
