I've been a filmmaker for nearly 20 years. I started as a grip/electric and learned gaffing from a seasoned veteran filmmaker. To this day, whether I direct or DP a project, I still use those same lighting techniques on many of my productions. I also teach lighting weekend workshops. They’re fun. I teach be giving real-life scenarios and challeng the students by solving problems as if on a real set.
